Question on our organization
Why did you start the Caring Brothers and Sisters Foundation
"Vocation" We felt the calling much like so many organizations but we were concern that the much needed help was not getting to the people. Particularly were the founders are from and simply wanted to stand in the gap for them. We are not an NGO, we are a group of caring brothers and sisters with a passion for giving back to Haiti's northwest corridor

Frequently asked questions for Missionaries & Volunteers
Am I ready to merge into other cultures by being flexible and patient in dealing with unexpected inconveniences?
As we continue our mission, it is a learning experience for all including our volunteers and missionaries. We will make sure that you are well versed on the culture expectations and in dealing with unexpected inconveniences.
Am I healthy enough to participate in a program that may be physically demanding?
Giving that this is a medical mission and it is in the northwest section of Haiti, we do keep you informed of any possible health issues or threats. As many of you may know that Cholera has been identified, but we see no need for concern. Do check with your primary doctor for any personal questions that you may have regarding your personal health.
Am I committed to serving others and following a program that is pre-arranged for me?
You will find that we are flexible but we go with purpose. We are always open to new ideas on how to make our mission trips better. Do remember that this is giving back and it will require a commitment.
Am I ready to work in a place with possibly only cold water in which to shower?
We stay typically in local hotels and we have amenities like hot and cold running water. However since our mission to the Nord'Wes section and we may have to
Can I sleep on the floor, in a sleeping bag, or on a mattress?
During our mission trips we are well prepared for the elements however we do try to make local hotel accommodations so bring a sleeping bag, you never know... :-)
